IJBTCS provides publication and conference-fee waivers valued at £220,000 for researchers supported through UKABCS.
London, 25 September 2025 — UKABCS received £220,000 in in-kind waivers and fee reductions from the International Journal of Biotechnology and Computational Science (IJBTCS), intended to reduce barriers to publishing and international conference participation.
Publication Support Waivers
Support is available only after standard peer-review acceptance. The framework offers full publication-fee waivers for researchers from developing countries and a 50% reduction for researchers from the UK and Europe. UKABCS will issue an official grant letter or credit reference once a paper is accepted.
Conference Participation Waivers
Researchers may receive up to a 75% registration-fee waiver for IJBTCS international conferences, with a minimum 25% contribution for operational costs. Travel and accommodation are not covered.
