Who is eligible to apply for UKABCS Capacity Building Grants?

Any principal investigator, faculty researcher, or registered postgraduate student affiliated with an accredited UK or Arab university is eligible. Cross-institutional UK-Arab collaborative proposals are given top priority.

How are grant decisions audited and reviewed?

All grant proposals undergo double-blind peer review by our Scientific Committee comprising independent UK and international university professors. Grant award decisions are published on our transparency portal.

Does UKABCS charge any membership or application fees?

UKABCS membership has annual GBP tiers for students, professional researchers, and institutions. Grant applications and peer-review opportunities are assessed independently under the published programme rules.

What is covered under the Graduation Project Grants?

Graduation Project Grants provide funding for final-year undergraduate and Master's thesis computational research, covering high-performance cloud compute credits, specialized software licenses, and APC publishing waivers.
