Programme Overview
The Application Form for the UKABCS Research Capacity Building Grant 2026 consists of 14 main sections that cover all essential aspects of the project, from institutional details to outputs, budget, ethics, and final declarations. Completing the form is expected to take around two hours, so applicants are kindly advised to prepare the required documents in advance, including the institutional endorsement letter, CVs of the lead and co-principal investigators, the general team structure, and the detailed budget sheet. Institutional Eligibility & Requirements
Who can apply & what is required
Open to universities, research institutes, hospitals, and accredited scientific bodies with the capacity to nominate 5 research teams (50 researchers) and appoint a Principal Investigator. Institutions must provide an official endorsement letter, team CVs, and adhere to UKRI standards for governance, ethics, and reporting.
